The FOSCAST collector nozzle is produced by vibration
casting for maximum density and uniformity.

| Application |
The FOSCAST collector nozzle is a separate nozzle which
fixes onto the bottom plate of the slide gate using
a bayonet fitting or other locking method. It is tailor
made to suit specific customer requirements, and based
on a recipe from the range of FOSCAST high quality
low cement castables.

| Function |
The FOSCAST collector nozzle is designed to reduce stream
flare and produce a solid stream of steel during teeming
from the ladle, whilst providing a suitable steel outlet
below the lowest point of the mechanism for the ladle
shroud connection. |
