METEC 2007, 7th International Metallurgical Technology Trade Fair with Congress, reported more visitors and exhibitors
15,500-plus visitors from five continents – about 500 visitors more than in 2003 – attended METEC 2007 in Düsseldorf. The number of exhibitors also increased this year, from 230 in 2003 to a total of 368. The number of international visitors was very high at 51 percent, and has increased slightly compared to 2003. Nearly half of all visitors came from Europe, followed by Asian visitors, with a share of 29 percent.
